Lewis left Texas Motor Speedway at 9 p.m. on Sunday and arrived at the team's shop around 11:30 a.m. Monday. After unloading and reloading the truck, Lewis left for Phoenix at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday and arrived in Phoenix around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
'The only thing that would really be a problem would be if you really had something go wrong and had a breakdown,' Lewis said. 'You would have been in a scramble. But I get paid the same either way, so it doesn't make any difference.'
