News: Zbynek Michalek scored with 1:51 left in overtime, giving the Phoenix Coyotes a 2-1 victory over the Anaheim Mighty Ducks on Saturday night.
The Phoenix defenseman fired a centering pass to Mike Comrie, who was just outside the crease to the right of Anaheim's Jean-Sebastien Giguere. But the puck went off a defender's skates, saving a victory for beleaguered Phoenix goalie Curtis Joseph, who faced a season-high 44 shots.
Ladislav Nagy, who assisted on the winning goal, also scored unassisted for the Coyotes, who earned points for the fifth time in six games (4-1-1).

Anaheim rookie Ryan Getzlaf scored his third goal in two games. Giguere made 28 saves, but couldn't keep the Ducks from falling to 0-1-3 since their four-game winning streak ended at Colorado on Nov. 3.
The Ducks had the Coyotes on their heels most of the rest of regulation, but Joseph hung on with a variety of spectacular saves, making the last 17 in a row.
